Mission Preparation (March):
1. Recon
- Seek out influential people & positions in government, education, business, churches, and communities. Target these positions of priority (80/20) rule.
- Reach the POP (positions of priority), and influence them to influence others for the Kingdom or begin to groom others who can take their positions.
- Start weekly devotional and prayer time with local professionals and business owners.
- Begin to research all local civic, communal and special interest associations.
- Become involved in the various community councils, chambers, committees and coalitions.
2. Assess the needs of each quadrant of the city.
- Review the city map and identify known areas of need in each marked quadrant (i.e., homelessness, low income housing, business districts, middle class demographics, high income demographics, etc).
- Inquire from City police department, Sherriff’s department, DJJ, DCF identified needs according to zip codes.
3. Build an Impenetrable Defense
- Create accountability system using City Groups, calling, texting, emailing or writing your brother or sister with words of encouragement; covering one another in prayer, and continuing to seek God together by sharing what God is sharing with you, and sharing testimonies and needs with one another.
- Establish ongoing prayer brigades for each quadrant that drives that quadrant and walks neighborhoods in that quadrant claiming it for the Kingdom of God; taking authority over the identified strongholds of that quadrant and remaining sensitive to Divine opportunities.
- Get involved and remain involved in community affairs (i.e., city council meetings, county commissioners meetings, local chamber meetings, events, etc.)
